ploy

Your community shouldbe creating more valuethan you do.

The best communities don’t just connect users. They help users make each other better.

Built in Ploy, obviously.

Ploy already has the right pieces.

This is not a proposal to manufacture activity. It is a plan to connect existing product, customer, and distribution signals.

ATTENTION

Successful launch, founder-led distribution, YC penetration, and strong early interest. Bryant has said more than 13% of the current YC batch was already using Ploy at launch.

EXECUTABLE KNOWLEDGE

Ploybooks let repeatable workflows run manually, on schedules, or from external triggers.

THE FOUNDATION FOR COMMUNITY

Ployground is live and built around customers sharing campaigns, pages, workflows, and Ploybooks.

The next Ploy is making them compound.

A COMMUNITY LOOP I’D VALIDATE

Make contribution compound.

One loop. Four stations. Every cycle should make the next member more capable.

Ployground

BUILD

Turn what you know into something valuable with Ploy.

SHARE

Share the build, result, Ploybook, introduction, or question.

AMPLIFY

Turn high-signal shares into Ploybooks, webinars, and activations more people can use.

LEARN

Peers see what’s possible and gain the knowledge and capability to build.

BUILD

Same behavior. Better inputs.

Ploybooks can be the mechanism that turns amplified knowledge into the next build.

01

THREE BETS I’D MAKE

Make community an activation engine

THESIS

Ploy needs community to help users explore—and experience—the full value of Ploy.

Run a Ploybook
Share the result
Improve the next run

02

THREE BETS I’D MAKE

Turn community knowledge into executable IP

THESIS

Ploy’s best community content should not stop at advice. It should become executable expertise.

03

THREE BETS I’D MAKE

Help agencies build the 10x agencies of the future on Ploy

THESIS

Help agencies become agentic.

Ship great work
Capture more value
Grow margin
Share what you learn
Generate demand

THE NEXT PLOY

I could tell you.Or I could show you.

Ployground Radar

Find the conversations worth acting on.

Scan the community, one public post, an accessible Slack link, or pasted thread text. Low-value signals stay out of the inbox.

Opportunity inbox

Only signals that merit attention

Human-controlled MVP. Scans may prepare drafts, briefs, questions, or messages, but nothing is sent, scheduled, or published.

PLOY 2

Turn introductions into useful connections.

Join Ployground
Tell us what you’re building
Meet the people who can help

Structure onboarding around builds, expertise, needs, and learning, then create high-confidence introductions between members who can genuinely help each other.

Community’s job isn’t to accumulate introductions. It’s to create collisions.

PLOY 3

Ploy Partners

Ship great work
Share what you learn
Earn your way into the room

A community for agency operators who want peer learning, special events, and practical systems for building the 10x agencies of the future.

Help agencies become agentic, and let their success pull Ploy forward.

THE UNDERLYING WORK

What the role needs. What I’ve already built.

ZERO-TO-ONE COMMUNITY

Entrepreneurs Dinner

Built an invite-only entrepreneur and executive community from scratch—from acquisition and qualification through programming, events, and advocacy.

33% of attendees paid to attend via word-of-mouth referrals. 52% of qualified prospects converted while fit stayed intentional.

ONLINE COMMUNITY OPERATIONS

17,000+ member community

Helped build Black Women Invest’s private online community and ambassador program, supporting member growth and engagement at scale.

Selected for On Deck’s 8-week Community Builders Fellowship on launching, engaging, and scaling online communities.

WRITTEN + VERBAL COMMUNICATION

TEDx speaker + public debater

Delivered a TEDx talk to 600+ people live and competed as a nationally recognized collegiate public debater.

Translate complex ideas, read a room, and build trust one-to-one or from a stage.

FAST-GROWTH B2B

Employee #73 at MainStreet

Joined a fast-paced venture-backed fintech, advised hundreds of founders, and became the #1 AE by quota attainment in my final 90 days.

Comfort with velocity, ambiguity, founder customers, and cross-functional work.

PARTNER + AGENCY PROGRAMS

$2M+ ARR relationship

Developed and closed the largest enterprise relationship in company history directly with the CFO of a $6B enterprise.

I understand the economics, trust, and mutual value behind durable partnerships.

EDUCATOR’S MINDSET

200+ coaching clients

Spent years turning complex personal and business problems into clear systems people could understand and execute.

Make people feel capable, not dependent on the teacher.

ENGAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Audience + operating systems

Helped manage a 14,594-subscriber creator audience and built the content, segmentation, and automation systems around it.

Engagement backed by operations, not isolated moments.

AI-PILLED BUILDER

This site. IronYear.

I use AI to move from concept to working system, from this Ploy-built pitch to software for tracking IronYear macros.

The artifact is the argument.

ENTREPRENEURS DINNER · YACHT EXPERIENCE

This is what zero-to-one community looks like.

Entrepreneurs traveled from multiple states, and even outside the country, for quarterly experiences designed around real relationships, shared learning, and advocacy.

TEDx · COMMUNICATION AT SCALE

Make a complex idea feel immediately usable.

A live talk to 600+ people, evidence of the educator, communicator, and room-reading skills the role requires.

30 / 60 / 90 · BUILD THE COMMUNITY ENGINE THAT COMPOUNDS

Don’t automate community. Automate the work that helps community compound.

30 = establish truth. 60 = prove the loop. 90 = make it compound. Each phase ends with a decision gate, not just a calendar milestone.

DAY 30

Establish truth

Learn what turns a Ploy user into a power user, and where Community can materially change that journey.

  • Define activation and map the user/community journey.
  • Learn from power users, low-usage users, lurkers, and agencies.
  • Test the three strategic bets and run the Ployground Radar manually.
  • Turn one existing community signal into measurable downstream value.

DAY 30: Know what matters, where the journey breaks, and what to test next.

DAY 60

Prove the loop

Turn at least one community mechanism from a good idea into evidence that it changes meaningful behavior.

  • Run focused activation experiments tied to real product behavior.
  • Turn the validated Ployground Radar into a Ploybook + PloyDB memory layer.
  • Route community knowledge back into execution, not passive content.
  • Co-design the 10x agency partner program with actual agency operators.

DAY 60: Know at least one mechanism that appears to work, and what deserves to scale.

DAY 90

Make it compound

Systemize the winners so members and partners create more value than the Community team can alone.

  • Scale the activation mechanisms that earned the right to scale.
  • Automate proven Ployground Radar steps while keeping human judgment in the loop.
  • Close the outcome → learning → Ploybook improvement loop.
  • If validated, launch a small earned agency-operator cohort and enable partner-led value creation.

DAY 90: Turn the winning loops into a repeatable, increasingly member- and partner-powered growth engine.

Provisional North Star: Community-Influenced Activation + Repeat Usage

Six things I’d validate before pretending this plan is even remotely right.

  1. 1What early behaviors signal that a user is getting real value from Ploy?
  2. 2What has Ployground taught you since launch about what users want to learn, share, and build from one another?
  3. 3Where do users stall, and what’s your hypothesis for how community can move them forward?
  4. 4What would make an agency 10x better because it builds on Ploy?
  5. 5What value will members consistently create for each other without Ploy having to create it for them?
  6. 6Six months from now, what would have to be true for you to say community is unquestionably working very well?

Prove value.
Then decentralize it.

The outcome is a community that creates measurable value repeatedly without Ploy having to manufacture every unit of it.

Community-Influenced Activation
Repeat Meaningful Usage
Community-Sourced Ploybook Runs
Successful Member Connections
Partner-Led Value
Agency-Driven Accounts

The only thing I can’tbuild on this page isthe conversation.

If the thinking here feels relevant to where you’re taking Ploy and Ployground, I’d love 30 minutes to pressure-test it with you.
